Subject: Elevator modernization project

Dear Tenants,

Beginning Monday, 3 August, the two passenger elevators in the east wing will be taken out of service one at a time so that our contractor, Vertica Lifts, can carry out a complete modernization of the cabins and control systems. Work on each elevator is expected to last about three weeks, and the entire project should be finished by mid-September.

While one elevator is being modernized, the other will remain in operation at all times. Tenants expecting bulky deliveries or moving furniture should reserve the freight elevator in the west wing by contacting the building office at least 48 hours in advance. The stairwells on both sides of the lobby will also stay open for the duration of the project.

Please note that monthly maintenance fees will not change as a result of this work; the full cost is covered by the building's long-term reserve fund. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience and thank you for your patience. Questions may be sent to me by e-mail or raised with the building office at extension 240.
