Objectif TOEIC®

TOEIC® vocabulary: the 600 essential words

30 business-themed lists with translation, pronunciation and examples. Review them with spaced repetition: the algorithm shows each word right before you would forget it.

Do you need 5,000 words to pass the TOEIC? No. The test recycles a remarkably stable set of business vocabulary: meetings, orders, invoices, hiring, business travel. Around 600 well-chosen words cover most vocabulary questions in Parts 5 to 7 — and those are the words you will find here, organised into themed lists with French translations, pronunciation and examples in context.

The hard part is not learning these words, it is remembering them. Ebbinghaus’s forgetting curve shows that unreviewed information fades within days. Spaced repetition (SRS) fights back: each word comes up again right before you would forget it, at ever longer intervals. The result: 10 minutes a day is enough to anchor the vocabulary of the test for good. Start with a themed list, then let the algorithm schedule your reviews.

SRS review session

A session mixes your due cards with a few new words — 20 cards max, about 10 minutes.
